Te Wiki o te Reo Maori

This week is Te Wiki o te Reo Maori, Maori Language Week. For Reading, we read a story called Mossie. It was about a boy who came from Australia. He played rugby and all the commands were in Maori - he could understand them because he could speak Maori. His family were originally from New Zealand.

Our task was to create a book using Book Creator and make a Maori translation book. My book is about every day words we use in our lives. I enjoyed this task because there was lots to do and I had lots of choices. It was a bit tricky pronouncing the Maori words but Mrs Naden helped me.

    1. Ni hao Josh,
Thanks for changing the link but oops - that was the wrong link you added. I have had to remove it. I will tell you why and show you how to do it tomorrow.

  2. Kia ora Josh,
Wow! This is a great resource. I really like your design that you kept the same throughout the book. It is easy to read and listen to.
I also like your "about the author" page.
