St Joseph

We are learning about the saints. I found it easy to insert a photo. I found it tricky to get my facts.

He doesn’t say anything in the Bible. He has two    feast days. He is the patron saint of lots of different things. He is the foster father of Jesus. He wasn’t very rich. He was a carpenter. He was a compassionate and caring man.

Spring

We are learning about describing words. I didn't find it easy. I found it tricky to finish. I found it hard to describe the lambs and the flowers. 

Outside, white fluffy lambs pranced around. Yellow daffodils bloomed in gardens. Lime green leaves sprouted back on tall trees. Pink blossoms flourished.

Science Fair

We have been learning how to float an egg in water.

I  liked watching the egg slowly rise.

I found it hard  to write the explanation.

Gummy Worms

We are learning about chemical reactions. Some are reversible and some are irreversible. I liked making gummy worms. We had to write an explanation about what happened.If I did this again, I would try and finish faster.

Have you ever wondered how a polymer is made? Mix two cups of water and a teaspoon of calcium chloride into a bowl to make an activator solution. Suck up sodium alginate into a pipette and squeeze the liquid into the bowl. It formed gummy worms. This is a chemical reaction. It is a irreversible.

Hello my name is Josh. I go to St Mary's School. I am in year 5. I live with my mum and dad. I have one sister, one brother and one dog. 

I am good at maths. I like playing soccer with my friends. I want to get better at Writing.  I find it really hard to get my work done on time

I am looking forward to doing more science experiments.

Digital Footprint

We were learning about our 24 Hour Digital Footprint. I learnt that
I found it easy to duplicate the footprints.
I found it hard to move things around.
I really enjoyed looking at other peoples footprints.
Next time I need to add links to my work.
