Gummy Worms

We are learning about chemical reactions. Some are reversible and some are irreversible. I liked making gummy worms. We had to write an explanation about what happened.If I did this again, I would try and finish faster.

Have you ever wondered how a polymer is made? Mix two cups of water and a teaspoon of calcium chloride into a bowl to make an activator solution. Suck up sodium alginate into a pipette and squeeze the liquid into the bowl. It formed gummy worms. This is a chemical reaction. It is a irreversible.

Hello my name is Josh. I go to St Mary's School. I am in year 5. I live with my mum and dad. I have one sister, one brother and one dog. 

I am good at maths. I like playing soccer with my friends. I want to get better at Writing.  I find it really hard to get my work done on time

Digital Footprint

We were learning about our 24 Hour Digital Footprint. I learnt that
I found it easy to duplicate the footprints.
I found it hard to move things around.
I really enjoyed looking at other peoples footprints.

Traps and Tracking

Over the last few weeks we have been learning about predators. We set tracking tunnels around our native garden to find what predators are in our neighbourhood. A tracking tunnel uses Peanut butter and ink to show What native predators are in our native garden. We found Rat and mouse Prince in the tracking tunnels.
