This week we are doing reports I chose the New Zealand Falcon and we made a fact file for reading.

We are learning how to write a report.

Next time I would add more colours.

David Walliams Fact File

This week we have been reading Slime.
We have been learning about David Walliams.
I enjoyed making the fact file.
I found it hard to find the information.

Faith Challenge

This week we have been given a challenge.  It is about our term value 'Faith'  We were to add a quote about faith and what it looks like, what it sounds like and what it feels like.

I found it easy to make this Google drawing about faith.

Lion Report

This week we have been learning about lions and  how to write a report.
We were given a Level 3 report but it was cut up into sentences. We had to put it back together.
I enjoyed putting the sentences in place.
I found it hard to stick the right sentence in the right place.
We worked out that the success criteria for structuring a report was to use a title, to use classification, to use a description, to write about their habitat and to write a dynamic fact.

Matariki star

This week for reading and writing.
We were learning about Matariki.
I enjoyed making the star.
I found it tricky to get the hole punch so it wouldn't rip the paper.
Next time I would not cut it out before I rubbed out the pencil mark.

Matariki breakfast

This morning we had a sheared breakfast to celebrate Matariki.
It was delicious.
I enjoyed spending time with friends and eating.
